The successful applicant will join the Antenna System Proposals Customisation Department and will be in charge of The definition of telecommunication satellite Antenna architecture phase A B for institutional or commercial operators, Working closely with satellite proposal and satellite Payload Engineering to define the best antenna solution taking into account the satellite configuration, the payload and overall system telecom performances and costs. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Being in charge of antenna design and satellite Antenna architecture design development to answer customer requests, Being in charge of antenna design for shaped beam antennas, multibeam antennas Single Feed per Beam and Multi Feed per Beam, Mobile Service application. Antennas in L, S, C, Ku, Ka, Q V bands and Active Antennas, Carrying out antenna performance calculation, Being in charge of Feed and Feed Chain design and requirement definition, Defining antenna specifications, Working with part of the satellite Proposal Team to establish the best tradeoffs for Antenna concept, Reviewing System level requirements and translating them in an antenna design, Interfacing with Antenna Component suppliers, Presenting Antenna design and performance to Customers, negotiating Specifications and Test Plans Performing Antenna, technical, schedule, process tradeoffs. Leading junior antenna engineers in the antenna definition and detailed calculation phases. This role will involve business travel once a month worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Engineering degree or equivalent, ideally in Telecommunications, 10 years of experience in telecommunications antenna design and development, Knowledge of at least one of the following tools TICRA, POS andor Champ, Initial experience in project management, Ideally, initial experience in bid management, Ability to work in a multinational environment, Excellent communication capabilities towards internal and external customers, Leadership, Team spirit, sense of commitment, well organised, Autonomy, Negotiation level of English French would be a plus.
