For the performance of tasks in the Galileo operation team of our Operations Department in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany we are looking for Space Segment Maintenance Engineers. This position focuses on spacecraft anomaly investigation, recovery strategies and workaround development. Responsibilities Analysis of spacecraft anomaly and anomalyhandling procedures Planning and implementation of test and recovery procedures Support of Galileo operations with focus of anomaly recovery and improvements Analysis and development of new operational concepts and improvements with focus of service oriented spacecraft operations Analysis, development and production of operating products such as procedures Analysis of tasks in Galileo operations and procedures regarding performance reduction and satellite lifetime Performance and trend analysis Providing service in compliance with Key Performance Indicators Skill Requirements Masters degree in engineering or equivalent preferred in aerospace engineering or equivalent A minimum 3 years of experience in Space projects industry satellite operations Expert knowledge of at least one of those subsystems AOCS, Galileo Payload, TCS Experience in SC Assembly, Integration and Test AIT, SC design, unit andor avionics software development beneficial High analytical skills and flexibility Good level of spoken and written English High communication and negotiation skills Team Player
