We are currently looking for a Design Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Design Team, you will have the following responsibilities Design in CADCAM or software implementation on componentequipmentmechanicalsoftware level to the specifications made at superior levels Create the design, drawings, schematics and prototype for brackets Manage version control of various iterations if necessary Provide all documentation related to the delegated work package Work on requirements provided by system architecture, design rules and standards, interfaces requirements and constraints, work packages definition Implementation data package, drawings and schematics if applicable, documentation and analysis reports. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Space Engineering Previous work experience in design engineering having worked on space projects rockets, satellites, payload will be considered a strong advantage Experience in the detailed commands of Catia V5, and ideally also Catia V6 Experience with Harness and Tubing Tool in Catia necessary Experience in 3ddetailed design and drawings Experience in lightweight construction desirable Fluency in English is mandatory working proficiency in German will be a strong advantage. Your Mission One of the main tasks of the DLR GfR mbH is to operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites from the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. For the performance of tasks in the Galileo operation team of our Operations Department in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany we are looking for Space Segment Maintenance Engineers. This position focuses on spacecraft anomaly investigation, recovery strategies and workaround development. Responsibilities Analysis of tasks in Galileo operations and procedures regarding performance reduction and satellite lifetime Planning and implementation of test procedures Providing service in compliance with Key Performance Indicators Support of Galileo operations with focus of anomaly recovery and improvements Performance and trend analysis Error analysis and errorhandling procedures Analysis, development and production of operating procedures Analysis and development of new operational concepts and improvements with focus of service oriented spacecraft operations Skill Requirements Masters degree in engineering or equivalent preferred in aerospace engineering or equivalent Experience in space projects an commercial environment Experience in SC design, unit andor avionics software development beneficial High analytical skills and flexibility Good level of spoken and written English High communication skills
