Employees of Chinese company "Tiens" attend a parade on May 8, 2015 in Nice organized by "Tiens" CEO Li Jinyuan as part of the two-days celebration weekend for the 20th anniversary of his company in which he invited 6,400 of his employees. A Chinese billionaire paid for a massive four-day corporate trip to France, covering the costs for over half of his 12,000 employees, to celebrate the firm's 20-year anniversary.

Sleiman Enterprises pays $21M for Point Meadows shopping center

Sleiman Enterprises paid $20.85 million last week for the Point Meadows shopping center in Baymeadows, anchored by Stein Mart. Jacksonville-based Sleiman, through Property Management Support Inc., bought the center from Konover South LLC, a Deerfield Beach-based real estate investment company.

Australian miner Fortescue Metals Group has refinanced $2.3 billion of its debt pile on a third attempt, but was forced to pay a higher yield amid investor concerns about the state of the iron ore market. Fortescue sold senior secured notes in New York at a 10.25 percent yield on Wednesday, a far richer price than the 8.5 percent the company offered just a month ago but which was pulled after it failed to tempt investors.
