System and Software Engineer 1811054 Job Description We are looking for a System and Software Engineer for our client ESTEC. You will join the team responsible for implementing the Luxembourg National Space programme. As such you will support the implementation of technical activities, maintain interfaces with the relevant Prime Contractors or subsystem responsible industryresearch institute for the assigned projects. You will also be involved in the System team of Small Satellite or Cubesat project in activities related to System tasks from early definition phase to implementation phase and launchoperations phase. Broad knowledge ofexperience in the practical application of tailored engineeringquality standards to Small Satellite, IOD missions and CubeSat projects. Expert knowledge of SC system and mission design, incl. system design modelling tools and Concurrent Engineering applied to space mission assessment and design. Knowledge of System of Systems SoS architecting and related tools such as System Architect, Focal Point, etc. and frameworks e.g. MODAF, TOGAF. Knowledge and practice in the application of ESA SE Standards e.g. ECSSE10 series and SW engineering. Frequent travel to Luxembourg. We are looking for Data Processing Systems Engineers PROFILE Mandatory skills University degree or equivalent in a discipline relevant to the job profile. At least 3 years relevant in preparation of requirements, design, interfaces and testing documentation for data processing systems for Earth Observation missions experience on data processing for high data rates missions will be considered an asset Demonstrated experience knowledge of the requirements engineering process, including relation between requirements, ICDs, design and testing documentation Demonstrated ability to learn and develop the needed skills and knowledge to contribute to the implementation of the service.
