For our customer in Darmstadt we are looking for System VV Engineers to support current and forthcoming Earth observation missions. Tasks and Responsibilities The tasks of the System VV Engineer shall include the following activities Tests preparation and execution Support to the creation of the IVV plan. Definition of required test tools. Generation of their Requirements Documents Interface Control Documents. Generation of test specifications elaboration of test cases and of stepbystep test procedures. Support for the coordination of test activities with partners and, as relevant, industry. Performing reviews of technical documentation provided by industry, to ensure compatibility of related design and testing with needs of the System VV. Follow and supervise the development procurement of test tools Consolidation of the approach method, level, phase, etc. for the verification of the System Requirements and maintenance of the related Verification Control Matrix VCM in DOORS. Analysis of subSystem level VCMs and associated documentation, to ensure consistency with the verification approach to be applied at subSystem level. Assessment and tracking of results of verification activities done by the Ground Segment industry. Recording of results of executed System tests in the VCM if tests occurring during the period of the consultancy. Participation in support for relevant internal and external technical meetings. Regular review of documentation dealing with requirements, system concepts, architecture and design, technical analyses, to identify information of importance for System VV activities. Analysis of documents provided by external partners, specifically in the framework of formal reviews for space segment andor ground segment elements. Support for the preparation of documentation for System level reviews. Execute System level test and provide test results. Identify anomalies and follow their resolution. Skills and Experience The keyperson shall have the following mandatory technical experience and background University degree in the domain of engineering, physics or equivalent. At least 5 years of handson involvement in System IVV. Familiarity with procurement, installation, use and maintenance of relevant test equipment. Handson experience with the preparation of test documentation test plans, specifications, procedures and reports. Experience in other areas of System VV, such as Satellite System Validation Tests i.e. validation of endtoend TMTC chains and of spacecraft operational procedures.
