Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will provide onsite support SSEG Space Segment Maintenance Support at the GCC Galileo Control Centre and have, among others, the following responsibilities Anomaly investigation, root cause analysis and Anomaly Reports handling this will also include providing recommendations for workarounds to mitigate satellite anomalies Maintenance and update of operational documentations included Spacecraft User Manuals and Known Anomaly Databases Spacecraft Performance Analysis including the generation, screening and processing of the satellite trend reports. This will also include assessment of performance degradation and providing inputs for lifetime estimation Coordination of the Level 3 SSEG Support Support improvements of SSEG Maintenance process and procedures Development and support validation of spacecraft anomaly recovery strategies and workarounds Provide L2 SSEG onconsole support for special operations when required and oncall support when needed Provide inputs for Operation and Engineering reports Spacecraft Engineering analysis to support customer driven requests. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline Experience from AIT tasks and or satellite engineeringdevelopment at industry mandatory this experience gained in the frame of Galileo is an asset Experience in space projects at industry level and in spacecraft design and manufacturing Expert knowledge of at least one of the following satellite subsystems AOCS, Galileo payload or TCS Experience in spacecraft operations would be an asset Resilient, team player with good analytical skills, high flexibility and good communication negotiation skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
