The beverage industry sued in federal court Friday to try to halt ordinances in San Francisco that would require health warnings for soda and other sugar-added drinks. San Francisco city officials unanimously approved last month an ordinance requiring billboards or other advertisements for sugary beverages to include the language: "WARNING: Drinking beverages with added sugar contributes to obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay.

The Wall Street Journal: Justice Department investigating allegations Sikorsky units overbilled Navy

The Justice Department is seeking up to $148 million in damages and fines from United Technologies Corp. over allegations that subsidiaries of its helicopter business overbilled the U.S. Navy for spare parts. had previously disclosed the complaint against two subsidiaries of Sikorsky Aircraft, the helicopter unit.

Wall Street falls for third day

US stocks fell for the third straight day on Thursday after disappointing corporate results and forecasts added to concerns about the US profit outlook. The Dow Jones industrial average fell back into the red for the year, with 3M, American Express and Caterpillar contributing the most to the average's fall.

Economy Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras seems to have contained a rebellion in his left-wing Syriza party after winning parliamentary approval for a second package of reforms required to start bailout talks with international creditors. The bill covered rules for dealing with failed banks and speeding up the justice system - two more conditions set by the eurozone and IMF to open negotiations on an 86B rescue loan.
