Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in Europe. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 100 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. General tasks to be performed Execution of electrical tests on platform and satellite level interface tests, functional tests, performance tests AOCS, Power, TTR, Onboard Data Handling OBDH as well as support for payload testing. Documentation of tests, preparation of test reports. Test preparation of hardware configuration of item under test. Preparation of test procedures. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Minimum of a few years handson experience with satellites. Must either be security cleared already PSC Personal Security Clearance level SECRET. Or have previously had this clearance and just needs it reactivated. Candidates can be either technician level BA degree, or Engineer level MA degree in Electrical Engineering, Space Technology, Information Technology or comparable qualification. Knowledge of EGSE Electrical Ground Support Equipment. Electricical payload RF test experience. Satellite test experience required, but it does not have to be specific Galilieo radionav test experience. SCOS knowledge would be helpful. Test equipment experience. All procedures are already well defined as Galileo is multiple satellites. So its all about following the right procedures, not defining them. Welldeveloped communication skills, used to work in a team. Sense of responsibility and an effective way of working. Fluent in written and spoken English. Flexibility on working hours some tests run 24 hrs Available immediately or with a short notice period for a temporary position until September 2017.
