With PREP (Peel, Remove, Edge, and Plane) Tool, users can prepare pipe before socket welding by removing natural oxidation that occurs on polyolefin thermoplastics. Outside layer of pipe is removed, edge of pipe is beveled to facilitate insertion into socket fitting, and face of pipe is planed to straighten uneven cuts.
