Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure located about 350 miles south of Manzanillo, Mexico, continue to show signs of organization. Upper-level winds are moderately conducive for further development, and this system will likely become a tropical depression during the next day or two while it moves west-northwestward at 5 to 10 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent. An area of low pressure centered about 850 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja peninsula has become better defined during the past day or so. Although environmental conditions are only marginally conducive, this system has the potential to become a tropical depression during the next couple of days before upper- level winds become unfavorable for development. The low is expected to move slowly to the west or west-northwest during the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent. Yet another area of low pressure is expected to form in the far eastern Pacific south of Mexico in a few days. Satellite images indicate that the low pressure area located about 200 miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, has become a little better defined today. In addition, the associated showers and thunderstorms are showing some signs of organization. Although upper-level winds are not particularly conducive for additional development, this system is still likely to become a tropical depression during the next couple of days while it moves slowly west-northwestward. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent. Showers and thunderstorms have become a little better organized during the past several hours in association with a broad area of low pressure located about 850 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja peninsula. Some slow development of this system is possible during the next couple of days before upper-level winds become unfavorable for development. A broad low pressure area located a couple of hundred miles southwest of Acapulco, Mexico, continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are forecast to be somewhat conducive for gradual development and a tropical depression could during the next few days while the system moves slowly toward the west-northwest at 5 to 10 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent. Disorganized cloudiness and showers located about 800 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja peninsula are associated with another broad area of low pressure.
