(Telecompaper) America Movil and NBCUniversal/Telemundo have submitted joint bids to the Mexican Football Federation for rights to televise the men's and women's Mexico national team over the next two World Cup cycles. In a statement, the companies said their proposal for the US market includes rights across all media platforms, while the other includes digital media rights for the rest of the world. "We look forward to leveraging the extensive expertise of NBCUniversal and Telemundo Deportes to bring the Mexico National team to a level never seen before in the US Hispanic market," said Telemundo International president Marcos Santana in the statement.
