Mission The User Support Analyst will report to the Service Desk Manager and work according to the teams agreed service levels, defined working practices and procedures. The User Support Analyst will have as a minimum the following responsibilities Installconfigureadministrate desktop and notebook systems hardware and operating system MS Windows Installconfigureadministrate hardware peripherals printers, scanners, etc Installconfigureadministrate standard corporate office applications Maintain, administer and support remote access devicese.g. iPhones, VPN tokens Administer user accounts, manage user permissions Provide first and second level user and technical support, particularly in the area of standard desktop applications Windows 7, MS Office 2007, Visio, etc Participate in crossteam IT Projects Support the procurement of softwarehardware Operate the Service DeskHelpdesk and provide firstsecond level user support for corporate ICT service users Document actions and interactions related to Service Desk calls or user requests. In the performance of these tasks, the key person will have to comply with the relevant working practices and procedures. Profile The User Support Analyst is required to have as a minimum Extensive knowledge of and experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of MS Windows 7, MS Office 2007, Visio, MS Project and Internet Explorer Experience in the installation and maintenance of mobile computing solutions e.g. VPN access, Notebooks, Remote Access, WLAN and iPhone Extensive experience in end user support in general. Customer focus and service orientation as well as highly effective interpersonal skills in dealing with demanding customers under high workload Experience in performing user administration in MS Active Directory and Exchange Knowledge of Outlook configuration and administration and troubleshooting in an MS exchange environment. Fluency in English oral and written is mandatory. Fluency in German would be an advantage. SAP user group says members will pull back on IT spending growth this year

While members of the German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG) say they'll spend more money on SAP software this year compared to 2013, the rate of growth has been cut nearly in half, according to a recent survey. Members' SAP budgets will rise 6 percent in 2014, as opposed to 11.2 percent last year, DSAG said in a news release. Members' overall IT budgets are also growing more slowly, going up 2.1 percent compared to 5.9 percent last year.
