We are currently looking for a QA Engineer for Propulsion to support our customer in Germany. Quality Assurance Engineer for Propulsion Key Tasks and Responsibilities As Quality Assurance Engineer for Propulsion you will be responsible for quality assurance surveillance and quality management for the development and production of assemblies, equipment and AIT of the propulsion subsystems. You will have the following responsibilities In development Quality engineering for the development and AIT of propulsion subsystem, assemblies and equipment Surveillance of the design activities and treatment and closeout of RFWs and deviations Planning of the manufacturing, integration and test activities Performance of the critical items control program Surveillance and maintenance of the PAS requirements baseline for the subcontracted items Supervision of the subcontractors PAS activities In production Acceptance of propulsion subsystem assemblies and equipment Surveillance and closeout of NCRs and anomalies Monitoring of the manufacturing, integration and test activities Preparation of acceptance data packages Control of the AIT quality activities Review and approval of project documentation. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in spaceflight technology or mechanical engineering Several years experience in space projects, especially propulsion subsystems Several years experience in quality assurance management Experience in production engineering test would be an advantage Fluency in English and German is mandatory knowledge of French is an advantage. For one of our clients we are currently looking for immediate commencement of a Senior System Engineer for Mechanical, Thermal and Propulsion Subsystems. Job Description System Engineer for the Satellite Mechanical, Thermal and Propulsion Subsystems MTP. Technical responsibility for the MTP integrity, thus for system level activities including requirements engineering, mechanical configuration, structural design, thermal design and performance and propulsion design. Control of mechanical, thermal and propulsion engineering budgets Definition, planning and control of the mechanical, structural and thermal analysis to be performed in cooperation with the specific discipline specialists Definition, planning and control of MTP verification, including specification of test requirements. Control of mechanical and thermal interfaces for satellite and subsystems Coordination with the Lead System Engineer Leading of an engineering team within the project, including management of subcontractors involved in system level activities Desired Qualifications Degree in mechanical engineering, physics or comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in space industry as MPT System Engineer or in similar position Specialised knowledge in the fields of satellite structures, thermal control and propulsion subsystems preferably biprop systems as well as analysis Additionally conversance with structural, thermal and orbit dynamics analysis tools e.g. NASTRAN, ESARADESATAN, Ecosim Pro Several years of experience in a CD satellite project Ideally, experience in ESA satellite development projects Excellent conceptual and analytical skills Strong capability of leading engineering teams with well developed communication skills
