Inflation rates have remained very high in Turkey amid a looming financial crisis, with the fall of the lira hardly offsetting the higher costs for clothing exporters to the European Union. Inflation of other emerging countries have however been overall moderate in April, especially in China. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar, the euro and the Sterling is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.

60 million pay TV subscribers for Europe's ex-USSR countries in 2023

According to Dataxis, pay TV in the European ex-USSR region will grow at a 1.6% CAGR between 2017 and 2023 to reach 59.7 million subscribers. The Russian market represents 80% of the total today and its share should remain stable until the end of the period.
