FedEx Corp. Board Increases Quarterly Dividend 25 Percent

The dividend is payable July 2, 2015 to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 18, 2015. "Increasing our dividend reinforces our commitment to drive value for shareowners," said Alan B. Graf, Jr., executive vice president and chief financial officer of FedEx Corp. "Our balance sheet and cash flow generation are very strong, allowing us to strategically invest in long-term, profitable growth while also rewarding our shareowners by raising our dividend by 25 percent."

FedEx Corp. Accelerates Aircraft Retirements

The impact of retiring these aircraft, engines and related parts resulted in a non-cash impairment charge of $246 million recorded in May 2015. FedEx has also adjusted the retirement schedule of an additional 23 airframes and 57 engines.

New Jersey man pleads guilty in Memphis in FedEx fraud case

A New Jersey man has pleaded guilty in Tennessee to defrauding FedEx Corp. of an estimated hundreds of thousands of dollars. U.S. Attorney Edward L. Stanton III's office said 48-year-old Anthony Caruso used his New Jersey-based shipping and logistics company, CSA Group, to ship packages under a different account with more favorable rates.
