Come and help us promote what we do at EUMETSAT EUMETSAT, the European meteorological satellite agency is looking to recruit a Communications and Events Assistant. Bringing together the resources of 30 member states, we observe the atmosphere, ocean, and land surfaces from space using a system of satellites 365 days a year. Our data is vital for weather forecasts that help to protect lives and property, as well as monitoring the environment and our changing climate. We want you to come and join our team to help us to promote our work. With a good knowledge of English, and understanding of French andor German, you will join our busy communication and outreach team. You will be involved in press and media liaison, organising press events, coordination of visitor groups and event organisation. This is a busy role and you will manage a number of projects simultaneously. As a representative of EUMETSAT, you need to be diplomatic, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. If you have proven experience of working with the media, preferably in a scientific or technical environment, we would be interested in hearing from you. Experience of working independently and as part of a team is key to your success in this role. You need to be passionate about working with our partners and communities to raise the profile of EUMETSAT and its groundbreaking work.
