Fire crews in Belmont had to shut down Wilkinson Boulevard near the Gaston College campus early Wednesday morning in order to battle a structure fire that destroyed a machine shop. The fire at Automated Card Feeding started around 6 a.m. and destroyed the building where owner David Marrow built machines for the furniture industry.
