Milwaukee-area June home sales up 23 percent over year ago

A trade association says sales of existing homes in the Milwaukee area spiked more than 23 percent last month from a year earlier. A monthly report from the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors said Tuesday that there were 2,370 home closings in June in the four area counties, up from 1,924 a year ago.
