ADEQ testing San Pedro River for contamination

TUCSON, AZ - Arizona Department of Environmental Quality inspectors tested water on Tuesday in the San Pedro River after Mexican authorities reported iron compounds from a mine in Cananea, Mexico spilled into the San Pedro River which flows into Cochise County. Video online shows discolored water in the area close to the mine.

McCain Foods is recalling some onion rings because of concerns they could contain glass, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The nationwide recall concerns McCain's 397-gram bag of onion rings with a best-before date of Oct. 28, 2015 and a lot code beginning with V40728.
