Frontier swaps check-in system to better service, regain flier favor

Pittsburgh International Airport to regain Myrtle Beach nonstops

Allegiant Air is the newest airline to serve Pittsburgh, with its service starting earlier this month to St. Petersburg, Fla., Jacksonville, Fla., and Punta Gorda, Fla. The Pittsburgh-Myrtle Beach route was discontinued some years ago by US Airways , although another budget carrier, Spirit Airlines , has seen success flying to and from Myrtle Beach from Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe.

A decline in the competitiveness of domestically-produced Japanese electronic products abroad may have come to an end, an index complied by Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance shows, as the yen's sharp slide against the dollar has finally started boosting the value of the country's exports.
