JONESBORO, AR - Multiple Jonesboro fire crews responded to a fire at the Thomas & Betts Corporation in Jonesboro Tuesday night. Dispatch confirmed to Region 8 News the fire that broke out around 9:47 p.m. at the factory located at 5601 East Highland Drive.

As state legislators debate tax breaks requested by a Nevada firm that wants to build a giant data center in Gaines Township, no one is watching the action more closely than the data center operators who are already here. Members of the Michigan Data Center Alliance want to make sure they're treated equally if Nevada-based Switch gets tax breaks it is requesting in exchange for creating 1,000 jobs and investing $5 billion in the former Steelcase pyramid.

Bring Switch to Michigan, but be smart with data center tax breaks
