Bangladesh Apparel Exports in 1st Half 2018 (Quarterly Report)
2018-10-05 20:22:19| EmergingTextiles.com
Apparel exports from Bangladesh have continued surging in the last months, being boosted by the recovery of EU's import market and the fall of Bangadeshi unit prices in euro terms. Exports to the United States have also rebounded in the second quarter this year, thanks to a return of US buyers to cotton apparel. The sharp rise of minimum wages as of next December in Bangladesh could however result in higher export prices and a lower export growth. Our statistical tables provide a comprehensive view of Bangladesh's clothing exports over the last years, also covering the latest US and EU apparel import data per product category. Volume, value and unit price changes are released with all data available for download.
