Functional Assembly, Integration and Test Engineering Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Integration Team, you will have the following responsibilities Independent production and implementation of integration and test procedures Support for EGSE components, organisation of EGSE setup, and maintenance of EGSE SW Functional integration of optical instruments inline with external and internal regulations Evaluation of test results and producing test reports Support to the HWSW integration as well as performance of relevant tests on the onboard computer Preparation and performance of functional and environmental tests Analysis of Sentinel 4 test specifications and conversion into test software and test procedures. The company, which has operations in Queensland and Singapore, plans to launch its first commercial small launchers to suborbital space by end 2018, and to Low Earth Orbit by 202021. Head of Engineering, Australia Our hybrid rocket engine program has achieved a number of significant milestones to date, including successful engine firings and test flights using proprietary 3D printed materials. The Head Engineer will lead the development of our suborbital and orbital space launch vehicles. Job Requirements She will lead a team of approximately 1720 engineers in our Australian operations and be responsible for maintaining the SRR to TRR design processes, and working with company seniors on the overall design of our launch vehicles. Interactions with government departments and other industry players will be required, as well as participation in future funding discussions. Successful candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including work on complete flight systems from design and testing to implementation. Software skills and work with avionics a plus. Project management and milestone attainment should be demonstrated. Mechanical or aerospace engineering degree at a minimum. Masters is preferred. Senior Engineer, Systems Engineering 2 years contract ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY This project related position will support the definition, design, development, testing and delivery of the Galileo Data Dissemination Network GDDN as well as the Public Communications Systems PSC project. In this project the incumbent will focus on defining customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documenting requirements, and then proceeding with design synthesis and system validation, while considering the complete problem operations, cost and schedule, performance, training and support, test, manufacturing, and disposal. He She could also contribute to or lead other projects related to the development, implementation, and improvement of ground based services and systems. In addition, the incumbent takes an active role in the preparation of technical proposals in response to international tenders. The GDDN interconnects the two Galileo Control Centres in Italy and Germany to an extensive network of sensor stations, uplink stations and Telemetry, Tracking and Control TTC stations distributed around the world. The GDDN also provides the connectivity to the Galileo satellite test and launch facilities, security monitoring centres, network management facilities and external entities. The Public Communications Systems PSC is a satelliteterrestrial hybrid communications infrastructure for emergency communications and critical infrastructure protection, to be deployed primarily in the public and private sector in Luxembourg.
