Spring Lake Twp. gets state grant for planning, resource inventory

Spring Lake Township has purchased several waterfront parcels over the past couple of years, and now the state is contributing money to help township officials determine what to do with the properties. The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality will kick in $11,000 of the $22,000 project to help the township and City of Norton Shores jointly plan for a park on 30 acres of township-owned land on Little Black Lake.
