As JetBlue Airways prepares to land in Daytona Beach, Volusia County officials are hoping to make the airline feel as welcome as possible. On Thursday, the County Council will consider a $300,000 incentive package as support for the company, which will start offering nonstop flights from New York to Daytona Beach on Jan. 7. Rick Karl, director of Daytona Beach International Airport, believes it will be a small price to pay for an even bigger reward.
