Quality Assurance Manager ISO

As the Quality Assurance Manager you will support the Head of Programme Assurance UK in all aspects of bid and project assurance with the objective of minimising Intelligence UK programme risks and maintaining current ISO management system certifications ISO9001 and ISO27001. You will be involved in Awareness campaigns and championing Quality to the wider company. You will be joining a small team that is part of a transnational department of 3040. This role requires travel through Europe a few times a year. The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role. Attending meetings and reporting with regards to Intelligence UK within the Airbus Defence and Space Supporting bids, projects and risk reporting on all matters of quality assurance Policy and process review, development and implementation Supporting and championing quality awareness programmes Implementing the Quality Assurance tools and methodologies as appropriate in bidsprojects e.g. APQP, RCA, PPS, Q6, Quality incident coordination and investigation Internal auditing and facilitation of external quality audits Develop and promote a strong positive relationship with Customers, Suppliers, Sales, Project Managers and Bid Managers. Ensure quality incidents and customer complaints are managed, reported, investigated and assessed for route cause and impact, and corrective and preventative actions are taken and recorded. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. An understanding of ISO management system specifications A confident and articulate communicator able to positively coordinate effectively at many levels To work effectively within complex project teams multisite and transnational Relevant experience of management systems and associated ISO management system standards ISO9001 Relevant audit experience internal auditing and external audit facilitation required. Then this is the role for you! A vacancy for a Materials Laboratory Quality Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space. This role reports to the Materials Laboratory Manager and includes Coordination, Maintenance Management of Quality Systems and Digitalisation projects Contributing to the Materials and Processes team mission of assuring the quality of materials and processes used in Airbus Defence and Space products. Providing practical routine Non Routine laboratory testing . Providing Materials Laboratory support to Projects Frequent UK overseas travel will be required The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Coordinate laboratory audits to ISO 90002000 and Environmental Audits 90014 Coordinates laboratory quality system documentation review to ISO 90002000 This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Experience working within a commercial Industrial laboratory environment, ideally within a routine mechanical testing laboratory Practical experience of mechanical testing and or chemical testing. Experience of working in a regulated laboratory to minimum ISO9000 quality standard Working knowledge of Quality System maintenance including documentation control, review audit Demonstrable team working skills, communication and presentation capability. Flexible and proactive approach to work and is prepared to work at other Airbus sites and at customer and supplier locations as directed PC literate, report and specification writing, database maintenance Web page construction. Experience of writing issuing quality documents within an established quality documentation system Experienced quality systems auditor Relevant experience of management systems and associated ISO management system standards 90002000 or Good Laboratory Practice GLP. Description Quality Management Engineer in the Quality Assurance Management Section, Quality, Dependability PA Support Division, Product Assurance Safety Department, Directorate of Technology, Engineering Quality. The postholder will provide quality management support to the ESA Administration Area, comprising the Directorate of Internal Services and the Directorate of Industry, Procurement Legal Services. The Section provides functional support to ESA projects and is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of product assurance and safety PAS engineering and management programmes. It also provides Quality Management support to ESA corporate areas, managing accreditation, certification and verification schemes. It carries out technological research RD in the fields of product and quality assurance management, techniques, methodologies and tools. It also collaborates on standardisation and training activities. Training and familiarisation with the Departments mandate, processes and procedures will be provided at the start of this assignment. Duties Reporting to the Administration Area Quality Manager, the main tasks and responsibilities of the post holder will include providing expert support in the Quality Management field maintaining and developing the Administration Areas Quality Management system procedures and work instructions where necessary analysing nonconformances, problems, customer complaints, following up implementation of related corrective actions supporting preparation and coordination of internal and supplier audit programmes and their execution, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 27001, etc. supporting preparation and organisation of the Administration Areas Quality Management system review to allow evaluation of overall system effectiveness supporting the organisation of periodic thirdparty audits to maintain ISO 9001 certification supporting Administration Area user surveys in the implementation phase, results analysis and improvement plan implementation providing support to preparation of quality plans, procedures and supporting documentation preparing training material and providing training for staffonsite contractors in the Administration Area supporting the provision of relevant input to the ESA Quality Manager for coordination and consolidation purposes when required, acting as quality assurance representative in Administration Area projects and services for monitoring the quality assurance processes of suppliers supporting the integration of management systems and their implementation contributing to the dissemination of the results of activities performed and knowledge transfer across the Agency. Duties may also include supporting other activities within the postholders field of competence. Technical competencies General background and specific experience in the technical domains covered by the position Experience in the defintion, implementation and certification of quality management systems Experience in the management and monitoring of industrial activities, including participation in reviews Auditing of quality management systems Behavioural competencies Communication Planning Organisation Teamwork Customer Focus Problem Solving Results Orientation Education A Masters degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or technical sciences is required.
