Experience of providing services in a 24 x 7 operational or production environment, with strict change control rules applied, is essential. TASKS The service activities include the planning, the installation and the configuration of ORACLE database installations via individual service requests. These service requests are issued in the form of Work Packages with a maximum effort allocation and cover activities ranging from the preparation planning of installations to actual installations, configuration and testing of database systems. These can be any of the following activities Planning and preparation of ORACLE database products Actual software installation under Configuration Management control Statement of Work for ORACLE Installation and Configuration Service Planning and installation of databases Testing of installations Performance monitoring and tuning Implementation and test of database backup and recovery Database migration support Supporting personnel Documentation of all activities performed. The service requests will be issued via individual work packages within an overall Limit of Liability for the overall framework. The work packages will be issued according to actual needs. The minimum notice period for a work package is 2 weeks.
