Job description Objective The objective of the role is to provide onsite support SSEG Maintenance Support at the GCC relating to the following activities Support of engineering tasks for the preparation, validation and execution of special operations Anomaly investigation Tasks Anomaly investigation, root cause analysis and Anomaly Reports processing, support of review boards i.e. Anomaly Review Boards and Nonconformance Review Boards. Provision of recommendations for workarounds to mitigate satellite anomalies Maintenance and update of operational documentations including Spacecraft User Manuals and Known Anomaly Databases Spacecraft Performance Analysis including generation, screening and processing of satellite trend reports identification of problems, reoccurrence of anomalies. Assessment of performance degradation and input provision for lifetime estimation Coordination of the Level 3 Space Segment Support Support improvements of Space Segment Maintenance process and procedure Development and support of validation of spacecraft anomaly recovery strategies and workarounds Provision of onconsole support for special operations when needed Provision of oncall support when needed Provision of inputs for Operation and Engineering Reports Provision of Subject Matter Expertise for developing training material Support Database tuning definition of Out of limits and review Out of limits settings in trend analyses Support Satellite Connectivity Test Campaigns inputs for SCTC sequence, analysis of results, on console support for special operations Adapt procedures to new databases and procedures delivered by industry Spacecraft Engineering Anaylsis to support Customer driven requests Requirements Academic degree Minimum Bachelor Degree or higher in relevant Engineering discipline Level of English Advanced spoken and written Technical knowledge Experience from AIT tasks and or satellite engineeringdevelopment at industry mandatory this experience gained in the frame of Galileo is an asset Experience in spacecraft design and manufacturing Expert knowledge of at least one of the following satellite subsystems AOCS, Galileo payload or TCS Good communication and negotiation skills Good analytical skills and high flexibility Team player Stress resilient Desirable knowledge Experience in spacecraft operations would be an asset
