The successful applicant will join Secure Comms Planning Performance Management. Please note that the work location will be Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. The Finance Manager will support the GSOp management in the full range of service operations from planning and analysis to commercial for the Galileo Service Operator GSOp activities of Airbus Defence and Space. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Leading the finance part of bidding proposal design in close cooperation with the divisional departmentscompetence centres and reviewsign off of offerschange notes to ensure profitable order backlog and at an acceptable level of business risk, incl. costing, guarantees, hedging etc. Owning the financial transactions required to the GSOp activities, incl. cost allocations and payments from the customer and to suppliers Owning the business plan for the GSOp business activities across all countries and reporting and update as required OP Forecasts and ensuring consistency with the work breakdown structure and with the industrial organisation and contractual set up of the programme Owning the EVM and EAC and externalcustomer reporting processes for the GSOp business activities and ensure compliance with all external and internal requirements at any time Maintaining yearend forecast and reporting of cash in particular into the business cluster based on margininbacklog costatcompletions views Working closely with the Head of GSOp to inform a about any deviations from the business plan Owning the risk and opportunity management process for the GSOp activities and inform about arising risk and opportunities Contributing to the monthly reportingclosing including comprehensive business analysis of profitability split of volume, price, cost and NRC, FXeffects and of cash generation split into gross cash flow and working capital, capex Ensuring availability of financial systems appropriate incl. setup master data meeting all transactional and reporting requirements for the GSOp activities We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to degree level in Finance with a specialisation in Controlling or a technical degree with additional finance qualification Very good understanding of finance processes, performance indicators and project business model Experience in Service Business with strong customer orientation and get it doneattitude Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, PowerPoint, Business Warehouse and SAP Strong sense of financial analysis and synthesis Intercultural team player with strong communication skills Highly selfmotivated and used to work under pressure Negotiation level in English Please apply online for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached. The Galileo Global Satellite Navigation System GNSS provides global positioning capability by means of civil unclassified signals for mass market and professional applications as well as classified signals for governmental applications. The Galileo System Infrastructure consists of a globally distributed ground infrastructure connected by a global data dissemination network and a constellation of MEO satellites. The European Commission EC is the owner of Galileo and the infrastructure. The European GNSS Agency GSA on behalf of the EC subcontracts the Galileo Service Operation. The Galileo Service Operator GSOp has the responsibility to operate the Galileo infrastructure, to maintain the Galileo infrastructure, to monitor and manage system security, and to accommodate system upgrades and evolutions.
