Galileo Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Galileo FOC Operations Services, you will have the following responsibilities Preparation and validation of Mission Planning operations scenarios and procedures Preparation of the planning DBs for Galileo IOVFOC Weekly timeline generation, including planning request processing Planning the pre and postLaunch activities Support the Team Plan Generation in accordance with the weekly timelines, qualification matrixes and staff availability plans Implementation of short notice changes in the team plan, notification of the team members, support FD activities if needed Support the FD activities Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant field Experience in SC operations preparation, and in mission planning for SC missions Knowledge in Spacecraft Operations Execution LEOP, Commissioning, Routine, Contingency Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. RHEA is currently recruiting a Galileo Space Operations System Engineer to support the System and Flight Operations Unit of the Galileo Operations Procurement Service Division at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the evaluation and execution of all operations activities executed by the Galileo Operations Contractor, ensuring the preparation and execution of operations and plans Participate to the spacecraft anomaly review boards, supporting the evaluation of any recovery action required Support the interfacing to the Galileo Space Segment for the deployment of new OBSW versions and the procurement of new spacecraft batches Define the System Level Operational concepts for the Galileo Second Generation for the infrastructure and associated External Interfaces with External Entities for the different project phases and related system builds Collaborate in coordinating the interaction between the operations team and the G2G system design team ensuring the coherency of the system design with the Galileo Second Generation Operations Concepts Define the operation requirements applicable to the design, development and validation of the system operations for the Galileo Second Generation, ensuring coherency with the deployment of new System Builds Interface with ESA specialists regarding technical matters, including spacecraft and segment design and operations documentation Maintain and upgrade all the G2G Operations project documentation, including MOCD, OSRD and Operational documents Participate on Galileo G2G related reviews panels, evaluations boards as required. Galileo Systems Operations ICT Engineer 1512093 Job Description We are looking for a Systems Operations Engineer to support our client ESA, based at their ESOC site. You will ensure that the ground ICT infrastructure and in particular the Galileo Data Dissemination Networks GDDN and EDDN is operationally consistent with project requirements to deliver Galileo Navigation Services reliably and sustainably. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the ICT operation concept for the Galileo systems contributing to the procurement of the Galileo GDDN and EDDNs, by updating the requirements in response to the Galileo System Level Requirements to the evaluation of the technical offers and potential negotiations ensuring the compliance of the GDDN and EDDN with the project requirements by following the validation and qualification of the services as well as the successful transition to operations of the new communication links, meeting timely availability in line with the project development requirements monitoring the provision of the GDDN and EDDN services as defined by applicable SLAs, following the progress of the implementation of new requirements, monitoring the anomalies resolution, and evaluating the service performance leading the coordination of the validation, operations, maintenance and endtoend communication systems of the Galileo Ground Segments in close coordination with the network equipment providers following up the development of the Ground Segment ICT, providing the required operations inputs for design, deployment and integration up to support to acceptance ensuring followup of any problems in any of the ICT systems in use, detected during infrastructure operation and validation at GCCs, through to disposition and together with the relevant Segments as required resolution contributing to the definition of the data network concept and related Ground operations of the Galileo Second Generation, including Operations Concepts, Operations Requirements and Operational Service documents. providing technical support to the procurement of the Galileo Segments and System within the domain of expertise as required.
