The Galileo Operations Maintenance Engineer reports to the Galileo Operations Maintenance Manager. Nevertheless such hierarchical reporting may change, in perspective of a more mature organizational structure, to be found as soon as the Galileo exploitation preparation will enter its next phase. Herhis main task is to support the definition of operations and maintenance activities and its evolutions as part of the future Galileo services provision. Heshe is responsible for Contributing to the Galileo Operations and Maintenance Concept documents Defining changes to the Galileo maintenance concepts and requirements in particular from the Services Provider Requirements Specifying the Galileo operations maintenance requirements Supporting Operations from anomalies root cause investigation to validation from cradle to grave Defining and analysing the relevant Key Performance Indicators, the maintenance reports, the services rollout implementation of the new Galileo System Releases, the services provision risks and the contracts changes proposals Analysing the services provision and operations changes baseline configuration changes or deviations, operations processes evolutions and services provision transitions Elaborating the Galileo Obsolescence Management Plan and requirements definition Defining changes to the Galileo Operations, Maintenance and ILS concepts and requirements in particular from the Service Provider Requirements Elaborating the Operations and Maintenance concepts associated to the future Galileo System evolutions Defining criticalityurgency for anomaly resolution, setting adequate priorities and ensuring a timely management by industry of nonconformance reports Participating to the Anomaly Review Board and NonConformances Review Board for the Ground Segment related issues Specifying and verifying the Service validation and testing, defining the test platforms utilisation plans Participating to the System Evolutions development reviews Analysing Service Provision events requiring public sector actions, ensuring a timely management by industry of observations and nonconformance reports Contribute to the Galileo Change Management Process CMP document Assess the cost impact of proposed changes and evolutions on the Galileo Services financial envelop Supporting the system and services security accreditation for new releases Liaising with the GSA Legal and Procurement Department and with the Finance Department for procurement activities Supporting the Galileo Exploitation Team for any topics related to Galileo services, mission and system evolution Contribute to other tasks of Department, as necessary.
