Seconded National Expert SNE EGNOS and Galileo Exploitation Department

The Seconded National Experts will be placed in the EGNOS andor GALILEO Exploitation departments according to the Agencys needs and the knowledge and expertise brought by the candidates. The tasks and responsibilities may include the following Conduct mission analyses related to the definition of the Commercial Service and Open Service Authentication. These analyses shall consist of analysing user needs and market strategy developed by the Market Development Department, identifying and tradingoff the different service concepts, followingup and analysing the output of the demonstration campaigns, establishing a service highlevel definition and associated MissionService requirements and KPIs Ensure a technical performance watch of the potential competing technologies in order to characterise the competitiveness of the proposed Commercial Service and Open Service Authentication concepts, and supporting the Market Development Department on user community queries related to these new services Support the analysis, definition and implementation of the EGNOS and Galileo exploitation concepts Support the EGNOS and Galileo infrastructure operations, maintenance, protection, ongoing improvement and evolutions activities, through associated contracts andor working arrangements Support the standardisation activities associated with the EGNOS and Galileo programmes Support the operational interfaces and service provision to the EGNOS and Galileo users Support the preparation of documents and the evaluation of proposals for the procurements led by the Agency for the Galileo exploitation phase Assess the impact of the Ground Segment maintenance activities and its evolutions on Segment Qualification and Service Provision status Ensure technical requirements baseline and operations requirements baseline consistency during ground segment evolution process Assess the impact of the constellation deployment activities on the System Qualification and Service Provision status Assess the impact of the spacecraft and navigation payload evolution within the same batch or between different batches of satellites on the System Qualification, Operations and Service Provision status Support operations from anomalies root cause investigation to validation from cradle to grave Assess the cost impact of proposed changes and evolutions on the Galileo Services financial envelope Analyse the services provision and operations changes baseline configuration changes or deviations, operations processes evolutions and services provision transitions Define criticalityurgency for anomaly resolution, setting adequate priorities and ensuring a timely management by industry of nonconformance reports Participate in the Ground Segment Evolutions development reviews and the Contract Change Board relevant to the tasks under their responsibility Ensure the technical interface with industry for what concerns Ground Segment maintenance and its evolution Liaise with the Agencys Security Department and Security Accreditation Board to ensure the accreditation of the EGNOS and Galileo systems and services Liaise with the EASA and other relevant authorities to ensure certification of the EGNOS and Galileo systems and services Liaise with the Commission and ESA for all matters dealing with the EGNOS and Galileo exploitationrelated activities.
