VN1408 In this role, you will play a leading part in all activities related to inorbit operations support for the EUMETSAT Metop satellites and preparatory activities for additional MetopC and future MetopSecond Generation satellites, along with other Low Earth Orbit LEO missions. This will involve coordinating a team of Spacecraft Operations Engineers focused on improving the reliability and robustness of satellites and related ground systems, with particular emphasis on enhancing processes and tools. Notably, you will be working with our satellite simulator and onboard software maintenance tools, whilst initiating operations rehearsals and improving training. Qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline, you will bring sound professional experience of LEO satellite operations, preferably gained via a leading position in the development or operation of an Earth Observation space system.
