The person who fills this position will be generally responsible for all the financial undertakings of the company, however the specific responsibilities will evolve as the company grows. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinating with HQ to ensure the timely delivery and requisite transparency and quality of financial data needed to support the companys global business Acting as primary bridge between accounting, business planning, contracts, program management, and operational management on financial and performance issues Driving program financial accountability by assessing compliance with program budgets, challenging decisions with large financial impacts, and tracking key financial metrics Acting as a business and financial sounding board to managers within programs to enable better decisionmaking and operational excellence Overseeing the development, analysis and maintenance of Strategic and operating plans as they relate to financial statements and business cases Performance results, variance analyses and understanding of operational and financial performance Financial performance variances identifies, analyzes and reports results performs risk and opportunity analyses and provides potential solutions works with program to develop recovery plans Financial performance measurement baselines Financial forecasts for the program and its various elements Resource forecasts labor and estimates at completion EACs at the element and program level Detailed 1year budget and 3year forecast for the program and its various elements Development of estimates and pricing for proposals and other data analyses risk, financial, etc Data for contracts, proposals and agreements such for programs within the European Space Agency, Horizon 2020, European Commission, and Luxembourg National Programs Supplier ManagementProcurement costprice analyses of supplier proposals for procurement of material and capital expenditures supplier source selection supplier financial and operational audits Resource planning, budgeting and financial management including estimating and pricing, and supplier management and procurement REQUIREMENTS Masters degree in Finance or Business Administration 7 years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and knowledge of EU accounting issues ProficiencyFluency in English, capabilities in other languages, particularly Japanese, an asset Experience in industrial, manufacturing or engineering focused companies Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, earned value management system procedures and application Experience performing budgeting, estimates at completion, revenue recognition, forecasting, earned value, planning and applicable analysis and reporting Knowledge of mathematics and statistics, analytical aptitude, strong oral and written communication skills Familiarity with estimating and pricing procedures, audit methods, and MS Office Experience in finance in a government contractinggovernment cost accounting environment preferred Excellent project, time, and budget management skills, and being able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail A mixture of high energy, flexibility and team orientation with a direct, honest, and respectful approach to problem solving, and an ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a highgrowth, startup culture Must show initiative, leadership, and positive cando attitude Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Senior Manager, Affiliates Performance Management NBU Support Betzdorf Provides financial support to Media Platform and Product Development in the Video business unit. The support covers various steps in the SES value chain, from rate card definition, deal negotiation to planning reporting. It includes the assessment and measurement of the costs associated with the delivery of video services. Heshe also monitors the financial performance of Video related affiliates e.g. HD, MX1RRM, Yahlive and reviews related capital allocation requests. Heshe performs financial due diligence on MA opportunities and conducts postinvestment reviews. Heshe works closely with the Media Platform and Product Development teams as well as MX1, HD and finance and business development colleagues. Your Responsibilities Setsup and maintains service investment case revenues, COS, opex, capex, e.g. plays a key role in platform implementations, representing Finance in the respective project management structure and ensuring the platform is implemented within budget and business model assumptions are respected. Develops with Media Platforms Product Development rate cards for the service offerings based on 1. underlying services investment case and, 2. capacity prices from Commercial Operations. Defines and keeps track of services KPIs for internal performance measurement and external communication Acts as single point in Core Finance contact for the Media Platform Product Development team. If required, supports customer negotiations and escalation process from NBU to Core and EC as per DOA Conducts the Video related planning, reporting and analysis as required by Core. Ensures that costs for delivery of video services are assessed and measured in a systematic matter and reflected in the prices offered by SES. Works with Controlling and Business Applications to drive implementation of a product line profitability tools Monitors and controls NBU Video related affiliates performance.
