Wireless Sensor Can Run Virtually Forever
2015-12-10 12:48:48| Wireless - Topix.net

However, that is far from possible at this point in time as battery technology has yet to progress to such a degree, but it seems that researchers from the Netherlands have taken a small step in the right direction - by working on components first, and their effort has resulted in a wireless sensor which will be able to draw power from a nearby wireless network.
