Pabst Brewing Company, Rainier's brewer since the '90s, has sealed a deal to brew Rainier Pale Mountain Ale and other Rainier brands at the Redhook Brewery in Woodinville starting this spring. The Pale Mountain Ale is just one of several beers that is to be brought out of the "archives" and brewed here, with the Pale even offered in the classic 16-ounce "pounder" bottles, said Greg Deuhs, Pabst Brewing Company's master brewer in a news release.

In a joint press release from Craft Brew Alliance and Rainier's parent company, which also owns PBR and other hipster-loved swills, the companies announced that a new Rainier beer called Rainier Pale Mountain Ale will be brewed in Woodinville, home now to the Redhook brewery. "PBC subsidiary Rainier Brewing Company will begin brewing Rainier Pale Mountain Ale, as well as other Rainier brands, at CBA's brewery in Woodinville, Washington in the spring of 2016.
