Junior Coordinator, Internal Communications Fixedterm Ref SES0772 Region Europe Location Luxembourg Betzdorf Company SES Category Marketing Communications Position Staff Published 20160322 Context SES is looking for a Junior Coordinator, Internal Communications to temporarily support the SES Internal Communications team. The incumbent is hired on a fixedterm basis from 1 April 2016 to 23 December 2016. Heshe will assist the team in executing on a number of exciting internal projects that will be implemented at SES throughout 2016, in particular the successful rollout of a Digital Workplace platform. As integral part of the team, the incumbent will also support the team in their daily operational work to ensure timely and accurate information to our global workforce on important company developments, decisions and activities via the appropriate communications channel. Responsibilities Support successful rollout of Digital Workplace platform as part of SESs Knowledge Networking initiative Assist SES users in content creation on the new Digital Workplace platform Create engaging content for the SES Intranet and other internal communications channels internal research, copywriting, publication Assist the IC team in the planning and successful rollout of internal communications campaigns and events Assist in the organisation of staff meetings and employee information sessions Support team with daily operations update of planning tools, coordination of project activities Experience Qualifications University degree in Communication or Marketing At least two years of relevant experience in communications in a company or an agency or a journalistic editorial experience Excellent general communication skills at all levels verbal, written, and listening Demonstrated skills in creating engaging content copywriting Fluency in English with strong writing skills other language skills considered an asset Selfstarter, proactive working attitude, ability to work independently as well as in team Ability to work under tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects for our internal customers Computer literate MS suite, web tools, photovideo editing Excellent organisation and coordination skills with attention to detail EU25 nationality or work permit Our Offer Competitive salary package, coupled with a diverse array of challenges and development benefits. You shall operate all or part of the mission system, which may incorporate parts of the ground segment as well as the space segment, as specified for each mission. The positions could cover prelaunch, launch and postlaunch activities. Typical tasks will be To monitor and control all operational progress, in accordance with the scheduled operations plan, ensuring that safety criteria are respected and that all operations are conducted in accordance with the established procedures To perform specific operations relating to individual missions, as defined in the operations plans, or as instructed by the responsible SOM, SOE or Analyst Immediately inform the responsible personnel when an anomaly is detected, in accordance with the established procedures To take corrective action as necessary, applying the contingency emergency procedures approved for the mission To coordinate with the responsible personnel for any scheduling required To prepare operations reports as requested To assist in the production of printouts, graphs and plots for offline evaluation and analysis To prepare and complete all necessary forms for the daily operations routine. The service is performed in a shift rota to continuously have 24 hours manning team within a regular shift pattern.
