Your Tasks Include The Data Processing Engineer shall support the Sentinel3 Operations with respect to our Clients Marine Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS maintenance in particular anomaly correction and software release process in the area of data processing systems from instrument source packet level through to level2. The key person shall also be responsible for the coordination of the evolutions of these systems. The Key Persons duties will include a range of tasks, from preparing and providing the support of the day to day operations and maintenance currently in the launch preparation phase, the analysis, and testing of the facilities including the handling of anomalies, and the design of upgrades and configuration changes for these facilities. The Key Person shall be the focal point for integrating the individual software components into the related data processing systems, covering all aspects of system integration and testing, including support to the endtoend testing of the complete production system. The Key Persons duties will also cover the settingup and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures as well as the coordination with external providers of maintenance services. This may also entail the participation in the specification and development of specific monitoring tools for Sentinel3. In support to operations, the Key Person may also be required to provide on call support as part of a team of maintenance engineers.
