Ideal candidate Applicants require a University or similar degree in engineering or similar applicable discipline or related extensive work experience. You will require good professional experience in endtoend ground station systems required for spacecraft operations. You will possess the following qualities Solid experience with planning and scheduling in an operational environment Solid experience in endtoend ground station systems for spacecraft operations Fluent in English, both in speech and writing Selfstarter, able to work independently with little or no supervision Proactive and confident personality with good persuasive skills Teamplayer, able to interface with technical and management personnel Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several tasks in parallel Able to work on shifts occasionally Solid IT knowledge, including Linux, networking concepts and common tools and software applications Service mentality and solid understanding of a KPI driven service environment Able to write and present documentation, procedures and training materialpresentations Experience in coordination and supervision of teams PC literacy MS Office Products, Lotus Notes. They shall also have some experience of complex scheduling and of negotiating resource conflicts in order to support the long term planning process for the optimal utilisation of ESAs deep space network of ground stations.
