Hog Outlook: PED Virus to Blame for Reduction in Pig Numbers
2014-01-06 01:00:00| ThePigSite - Industry News

Perhaps the most import number in the December 27 report was their estimate of 10.04 pigs per litter (ppl) in November. It was down from 10.16 ppl in November 2012 and was the first month that ppl was below the year ago level since August 2003, write Ron Plain and Scott Brown, University of Missouri.
