America Movil sells more shares in Telekom Austria

(Telecompaper) America Movil announced plans to sell another 0.89 percent stake in Telekom Austria Group. The 5.92 million shares will be offered to institutional investors in an accelerated bookbuilding. Last month America Movil sold 7.8 percent of its voting rights in Telekom Austria to the market, reducing its stake to 51.89 percent. The latest share sale will lower its stake to 51.0 percent. America Movil said it currently has no plans to sell any more shares in Telekom Austria. In addition, it has agreed to a 180-day lock-up of its remaining shares.

Deutsche Telekom adds Qivicon partners, new home base

(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom announced that it will present new partners for Its Qivicon smart home platform at the Ifa consumer electronics show in Berlin. E Wie Einfach and Bitron Video will make use of Deutsche Telekom's white-label offer to offer customers smart home solutions under their own brands in the coming months. Along with apps and compatible components, the companies are offering a new Home Base 2.0 gateway through their own distribution channels. Energy group E Wie Einfach plans to launch its products and services in Germany, and manufacturer Bitron Video will target the Italian and French markets. Telekom said it now has over 40 partners for the platform, with a presence in several European countries. It will also introduce the new Qivicon Home Base 2.0 this autumn, which aims to keep up with the various wireless protocols on the international market.
