We are currently looking for a Space Department and Project Administrator to support our customer in the United Kingdom. Space Department and Project Administrator Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a world leader in satellite data communications. It pioneered the use of high throughput satellites at the Kaband frequencies. Major organisations are now using its networks for cellular backhaul, IP trunking, complex government and enterprise networks and video services, as well as broadband. The Space Department and Project Administrator is an essential part of the project management team in supervising project information provided by the prime contractor, its subcontractors, customers and internal personnel in accordance with ECSS standards. You will be responsible for the following tasks Manage and maintain information configuration, control, delivery, storage and retrieval database as per European space standards ECSS locally that includes the following essential key information o SatelliteGroundLaunchEquipmentSubsystem Design Review Information, o Minutes of meetings, o Action Item RegisterStatus listAction Item Responses, o Equipment End Item Data Packages EIDP, o RFDsRFWsNCRsPADsNSPARs etc. including registers, o Ensure that all data is in a transferable format for the project database and is in the accepted European Space Agency format for space programmes. Facilitate regular satellite action item response reviews Coordinate with supplier engineering staff to guarantee timely information delivery Extract key satellite technical data from documentation for trending purposes Generate key satellite information spreadsheets for trending purposes and maintain and update as new information becomes available Provide inputs to weekly progress reports Participate in meetings with various stakeholders as required Maintain the document register Space Department Administration o Manage the affairs of the space department and office environment o Support travel requests from members of the department organising with the companys travel agent o Process holiday forms and maintaining a department database o Maintain the travelholiday schedule o Perform the role of secretary to departmental meetings, taking the minutes and maintaining the action list o Be the department focal point for office issues. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Excellent relevant project administration knowledge and practical understanding Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint document management system Working knowledge of DOORS requirements management system Understanding of space programme management and key satellite information configuration, control, storage and retrieval systems Demonstrate a familiarity with European Space Agency Standards Ability to organise and direct project engineering team Fluency in English is mandatory. UK mobile phone retailer Phones 4u said it is seeking the appointment of administrators from PricewaterhouseCoopers after its key partner EE notified the company that it would not be renewing its network agreement. The contract, which ends in September next year with the UK's biggest mobile operator EE - which comprises T-Mobile and Orange, was crucial to the business for Phones 4u after it lost a similar contract with Vodafone Group Plc earlier this month.

The Financial Administrator will carry out the following specific duties under the appropriate supervision and control of a Finance Staff verification and processing of invoices and Advances in compliance with the Agencys accounting policy, financial regulations and Instructions, including formal checks if document is to be considered an invoice and if an eventual VAT amount invoiced is justified correctness of vendor master and bank data for invoices without prior commitment identification of correct account assignment posting of invoices, deblocking after verification against available Advances and validation of payment against Payment Lists posting and approvalunblocking of Advance Payment Requests Down Payments in SRMFI control and clearing of Down Payments as per OffsetPlan ProcuretoPay verification on the correctness of contract actions implemented in the Financial system, including the account assignment and other financial information compliance checks with IPSAS the Payment clauses and conditions in the draft contract consistency check of the financial part and the contract structure with the original paper version of the contract action responding to invoice queries from industry interacting with Initiating Services ESAinternally with the objective to support the synchronization and workflows of invoices and Confirmations other ad hoc tasks in the area of accounts payable as requested by management This is a fulltime position with a planned starting date of 1st of January 2015. Your Qualifications Applicants should have a short third level education e.g. Bachelor or equivalent professional qualification in Financial Administration together with at least 2 years of working experience in Finance, preferably in the area of Accounts Payable.
