A vacancy for a Senior Project Controller has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Newport. Reporting into the Service Delivery Manager or Service Project Manager you will provide project support to the Service Delivery Team. Responsible for project planning, organising, controlling and reporting on assigned deliverables Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Track, review and report on issues that impact the Project Programme Office Generate regular project reports, as required, for internal and customer use To work closely with other groups with Project or Programme Responsibilities Ensure processes, standards and guidelines are available to the programme from the PMG Deputize for the PMO Manager or Project Manager as required, in internal and external including customer facing situations. To direct, mentor and lead the PMO team members Project Controllers in the PMO Actively supporting and providing input into Project Management Group Best Practice for Airbus Defence and Space To ensure project control practice through ERP System SAP, MS Project and associated PM tools Hyper waveMISRisk for all aspects of project activity. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth.We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience including proficiency Further educationexperience desirable, good general education essential Project office project management qualification e.g. PRINCE 2 Foundation, ISEB Certificate in Programme and Project Support Office desirable Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and preferably Access. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible to the Software Team Lead for executing allocated Software Work Packages within agreed cost, time and quality constraints. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for demonstrating that the developed product meets all specified customer requirements, by analysing requirements and specifying the software solution and work breakdown preparing software architectural and detailed design UML Models and documentation generating source code to implement all aspects of the software detailed design controlling and reviewing work of the members of their team where a team exists integration of software onto the target platform providing software technical support supporting the company software process and procedure updates This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth.Must have extensive experience of software development and be familiar with a number of software development methodologies.
