Summary An exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to work for Telespazio VEGA onsite at ESTEC. Objective To provide on demand support to the Software System Division for a number of specific and dedicated software applications. Responsibilities Duties Duties will include but are not limited to User support in installation, testing and corrective, adaptive, preventive and perfective maintenance. Specifically the maintenance of software tools that are or will be made available to other ESA or Industry stakeholders, for example through the new ESA Web portal ESSR ESA Space Software Repository. To perform the service, it requires an uptodate and actively maintained knowledge of the stateofart and market availability for a number of software tools. These tasks are currently performed ad hoc by individual ESA staff of the division. The service tasks include the interface and proxy to but not replaces the Service Admin.
