Levering on the technical expertise accumulated within the Group by operating satellites for more than 20 years, it provides technical services to the Satellite Industry on a worldwide basis. For the duration of the twoyear fixedterm contract and under the supervision of the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, the incumbent will support project teams Engineering and Operations divisions as well as Sales and Finance of SES Techcom and assist with the maintenance of SES TechComs quality management certification the ISO certification. This fixedterm position is a great opportunity for a graduate to obtain experience in the domain of Quality Assurance, with a focus on projects in the satellite telecommunication sector. Only candidates with a valid work permit for Luxembourg will be considered. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, the Junior Quality Assurance Engineer will Support project teams in the preparation of procedures, processes, documents in the frame of proposal preparations andor contract realisation Support the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in preparing documents for projects milestones Support the efforts in maintaining the ISO certification of the organisation Support the Senior Engineer Quality Assurance with other tasks as required i.e. Risk Coordination, Project Warranty as well as Health Safety Experience Qualifications Graduate with ideally some practical experience acquired during an internship or first work experience A past experience in quality or product assurance, operational excellence will be an asset Technical Masters degree in one of the following domains Engineering, IT, Physics Fluency in English essential verbal and written. Fluency in other languages is an asset. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineerto support our customer in Germany. Quality Assurance Engineer Key tasks and responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. As part of the project quality team of the Ariane 5 upper composite production, you will perform QA surveillance and quality management of the AIT Assembly, Integration and Test activities and be responsible for the QA surveillance of subcontracted equipment. Your responsibilities will include Daily tracking, surveillance and closeout of NCRs and anomalies Monitoring of the manufacturing, integration and test activities with audits, Mandatory Inspection Points MIPs and Key Inspection Points KIPs Preparation of the A5 upper composite acceptance data package Controlling the AIT quality activities Review and approval of project documentation Preparation and maintenance of the quality documentation and process for ordering parts and materials QA surveillance of supplied parts, materials and equipment. Key skills and experience University degree in a relevant engineering discipline Proven background in quality assurance management Experience working in space or aerospace projects Experience in assembly, integration and test Willingness to travel Excellent analytical and communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another German desired.
