Infrastructure Developer Galileo Space project, Leatherhead Category Information Technology City Leatherhead, Surrey, United Kingdom Position ID J02150612 Permanent Full Time Position Description The project requires experienced infrastructure developer to develop automation and to drive the automation of the implementation of the KMF project and future GSF project changes for the Galileo full operational capability FOC. These resources will develop infrastructure automation by using third party tools along with shell scripting and powershell. This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in the development of Galileo, Europes satellite navigation system. The immediate requirement is for a role on the Galileo Key Management function KMF Project. The project is starting a series of enhancements to provide the Full Operational capability for the Galileo satellite navigation programme. The Galileo KMFs manage the encryption keys used in the navigation services. The role on the KMF Project will require you to handle classified material. You should ensure that you are familiar with the appropriate procedures for handling classified material and that you follow these procedures. You should be familiar with the GMS and GCS KMF systems and understand the commitments and obligations of CGI under the contracts for their supply and upkeep. Essential Skills Development scripting background Linux Administration SC cleared or capable of obtaining this level of clearance Desirable Skills Hands on experience of producing configurations for firewalls, switches, routers Knowledge of Windows 2008 R2 2012 Linux including servers workstations Networking CCNA CCNP DevOps e.g. puppet chef ansible XML XSLT VMware VCP Bash, Python, Powershell, Java, C Strong documentation attention to detail i.e. advanced usage of Word Excel Space project experience, especially working for ESA Galileo Cryptographic Security experience. In possession of a full UK driving licence and prepared to drive overseas Role is full time in Leatherhead. Remote working is not possible. Magic Leap launches augmented reality developer platform

(Telecompaper) Magic Leap unveiled an augmented reality developer platform at MIT Technology Review's EmTech Digital conference, TechCrunch reported. The hardware and software developer has opened a Developers section of its website where people can sign up for access to its SDK, which will work with the Unreal and Unity game engines. The company tweets that the SDK will be released "soon". The company said it wants to start training developers "on this." The company also said it has built a 300,000 square foot pilot manufacturing facility in Florida for its "photonic lightfield chip." The chip powers its augmented reality headset that works by shooting light directly onto your eye, rather than sticking a screen in front of it.
