PROFILE The key person shall have A University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Good theoretical knowledge of satellite imagery data processing algorithms for navigation, registration and calibration and the techniques used for assessing the geometric and radiometric quality of Level 1 image products A minimum of 3 years experience in the processing and analysis of data from imaging andor sounding instruments on remote sensing spacecraft Significant experience of validating remote sensing products and complex remote sensing data processing systems Fluency in English. In addition, the Key person shall have practical, demonstrable experience inwith Software engineering, in particular software development, in a Unix environment using CC, and ideally also Python and MatlabIDL Implementation of scientific algorithms from a given specification. Language Skills The official languages of EUMETSAT are English and French.
