Viscose fiber prices have dropped further in the last seven days in China and Pakistan, however at a slower pace than observed in the last weeks. China's export markets are extremely volatile, if considering destinations, with sales surging to Vietnam or Pakistan. Our weekly report covers the viscose/rayon staple fiber and filament markets over the previous 12 months. Viscose spun yarn prices in China, India, and Pakistan are also available. PTA prices have continued to decline in the past seven days in the Far East, over a rise in production capacities in the last months. PTA and paraxylene producers are confronted with a dramatic fall in their operating profits, amid surging international competition. Polyester prices could slide to lower levels as a result. EU Clothing Imports in 3rd Quarter and Jan-Sep 2019: Categories (Quarterly Report)

EU's clothing imports have dropped in many categories of products in the third quarter this year, in volume terms. The fall of the euro has resulted in a rise in unit prices in euro terms, whatever efforts from suppliers to lower their U$ prices. Statistical tables are published with volume, value and unit value changes in euro and US$ terms, covering 61 and 62 HS chapters (knit and woven clothing) per category. The full table is also available for download with historical data from 2014.
