ADM names Juan Luciano next CEO

Archer Daniels Midland Co., Chicago, has named Juan R. Luciano its next president and CEO, effective Jan. 1. He was also elected to the company's board of directors, effective immediately, and currently serves as president and chief operating officer. In his current position, Luciano oversees the commercial and production activities of ADM's Corn, Oilseeds and Agricultural Services businesses, as well as its research, project management, procurement and risk management functions.
